About South Georgia Softball
Our Story
South Georgia Softball, has been passionate about girls/women's fastpitch softball since 1983. Our background includes being a winning coach at all levels and multiple sports. Experience Includes coaching and developing players at the collegiate, high school, middle school, elite travel ball and recreational level.
Since 2002 our mission began to provide high-quality girls fastpitch softball tournaments and showcase tournaments for players and teams of all skill levels. What started as the organization that offered highly competitive ASA, USA Softball events/tournaments/showcases in Savannah, Dublin, Statesboro, Valdosta and Tifton, GA has grown into THE organization that offers these events throughout the country. All events are currently sanctioned through USA Elite and teams may earn points for national rankings and berths to USA Elite Nationals.
In 2013 our director was hired to establish and create the well known Softball Factory National Showcases making them a force in the national youth fastpitch softball world from Coast to Coast. For 11 years they hosted annual events in places and states like So Cal, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia. Those National Showcases became a staple for college softball coaches looking for players. In July of 2024 the Softball Factory changed their focus.
Our goal is to give players and teams what they deserve. A quality run showcase where college coaches and youth travel ball teams merge for a successful and enjoyable event.
